I've been in the 190's for 3 days now :) It's amazing what a number can do for you! I no longer feel huge! I look like a regular overweight person instead of something to be stared at as I walk down the street. I know that sounds horrible, but that's really how I felt when I was 250 lbs. At least that how I felt when I saw pictures of myself at 250 lbs.
My husband is really noticing too I think. Just today he picked me up when he hugged and kissed me! He's never done that! At least not since we were dating. He used to do that when we were teenagers and play-fighting, lol! It really made my day that he could do that! To me that's a huge milestone reached! I nearly cried!
Last weekend he chased me down the hallway when we were moving his grandmother into an apartment. It's like we're in a young flirty relationship. We never had that when we started dating, I couldn't run! I'm getting a lot more bum pinches too, lol!
I really want to thank my 250 lb self for getting up the courage to start this journey and have the determination to really do it this time. Everyday I'm amazed at the changes in my body, in my stamina and what I can do now at a more "normal" weight. This really is the best thing I've done for myself and my family.
Oh! My blog writing got interrupted with the arrival of my mothers day present!!!
Whoever said you shouldn't ever buy your wife appliances wasn't married to me!!!
Plans have just changed for tomorrow! I'm baking!
I totally agree with the "it's ok to buy me appliances" I would kill for a dishwasher, lol... keep up the great work :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! I bake as a hobby so it's about time! I'm on my 5th hand mixer!!!
DeleteIt's amazing exactly how something as small as a set of scales can make you feel about yourself isn't it. lol.
ReplyDeleteStill, you're doing great and I can't wait to join you in the one hundreds!
As for appliances - love em! Vitamix would be a fab pressie for me but then again I'd love the latest Bissell lol.
