Welcome!

I'm 41 years old, a wife to my amazing soulmate and a mother of 2 beautiful girls! October 11th 2011 I realized I was over the 250 lb mark and right there and then decided to change my life! I started weight watchers that day and lost almost 90 pounds. I hit rock bottom emotionally trying to lose the last 20 pounds and ended up gaining back what I lost, plus some.

My Bariatric Journey

Jan 27th 2020 I was referred by my family doctor, to The Bariatric Centre of Excellence at Guelph General Hospital where I will hopefully be having a gastric bypass.

Aug 6th 2020 - Orientation (after lengthy covid closure, finally!) - DONE

Sept 16th 2020 - First Nurse visit. DONE

Sept 25th 2020 - Pre-op diet class DONE

Oct 15th 2020 - Dr Aggarwal, Internist DONE

Oct 23rd 2020 - First Dietician visit DONE

Nov 4th 2020 - First Social work visit

- Second Nurse visit

- Second Dietician visit

- Second Social work visit

- Post-op diet class

- Craving change class

- meet the surgeon

- Surgery!!!

It's a never ending fight that I don't intend to ever stop!
